Michael Orford

Michael Orford

Graduating from Newcastle University, Michael has spent the majority of his professional practice treating neuro-musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries and orthopaedic conditions. Having completed post-graduate training in spinal physiotherapy, sports physiotherapy and dry needling, Michael treats all musculoskeletal conditions. Michael has a special interest in managing acute and persistent spinal pain, headaches, groin injuries, tendon pathologies and shoulder pain.

Working with netball and CrossFit athletes for the past 10 years at a community and representative level, Michael has extensive experience and knowledge in athlete performance and injury management. Through examining his patient’s individual presentation, Michael ensures his patients have a thorough understanding of their condition and how to best reach their goals.

Michael is passionate about keeping up to date with the latest evidence in musculoskeletal and sports injury management, taking an analytical and hands-on approach to his work. Michael is currently studying his post-graduate Master’s degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at La Trobe University.

A local to the Central Coast, Michael has a love of the beach and being active. He is an avid golfer and enjoys a mix of exercise forms including CrossFit, resistance training and running outside of work.

Tim McDonald

Tim McDonald

Tim graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2013 with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science along with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in 2017. Tim has been working in private practice since graduating, treating a broad range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

Tim employs a modern, evidence-based physiotherapy approach to pain and injury treatment through patient education, goal setting and patient specific treatment planning to ensure his patients are well informed and empowered to manage their condition.

Tim takes particular interest in treating tendon pathologies of the upper and lower limb alongside managing running related injuries. Tim is committed to ongoing professional development, recently completing training in bike fitting with an emphasis on managing pain on and off the bike. Tim enjoys integrating the principles of strength and conditioning to assist in managing pain alongside improving sports performance.

Outside the clinic, Tim loves spending time with his young family and his dogs. On weekends you will find Tim running or cycling and he is an avid Parkrunner with most Saturday mornings spent at The Entrance Parkrun. Tim is also a member of the Central Coast Triathlon Club.

Jacob Ott

Jacob Ott

Jacob graduated from Western Sydney University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science along with a Masters degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2015. In 2022, Jacob completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree at Western Sydney University to become a dual qualified Physio/EP.

Jacob has been working in the private sector since 2015, treating a range of chronic and complex musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. He enjoys applying a person centred approach whilst utilising the most evidence-based recommendations to achieve effective outcomes for his patients.

Jacob treats a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions including spinal, upper limb and lower limb presentations. Jacob has a particular interest in treating lower limb sporting injuries, especially those related to kicking and sprinting based sports. His approach is largely focused on taking all his patients from pain to performance, and this is achieved with the utilisation of rehab specific strength and conditioning, through his expertise as a Physio/EP.

Away from work, Jacob enjoys going for a surf or run and trying out new workouts. Being a newer resident to the Central Coast since 2020, he also likes venturing out to new walking trails throughout the region.

Angela Waters

Angela Waters

Angela has a passion for Women’s Health and enjoys taking a holistic approach to treatment. She sees the importance of movement and breath work in the function of our complex bodies, while also loves integrating fascial release and/or dry needing.

Angela graduated from The University of Newcastle with first class honours in 2012. She spent several years in the public and private sector honing her physiotherapy experience, before going on to develop a special interest in Women’s Health Physiotherapy. With a difficult pregnancy and birth of her first daughter, followed by a beautiful waterbirth of her second daughter, Angela has a particular passion for helping Women through pregnancy, birth and beyond.

Outside of work Angela is busy with her young family, she also enjoys outdoor activities such as swimming, hiking and skiing.

Kimberley Brierley

Kimberley Brierley

Graduating with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science in 2012, and her Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Rehabilitation) in 2013, Kim has worked across a variety of rehabilitation hospitals and private practice in Sydney and on the Central Coast. Kim treats a wide range of conditions including post-operative, musculo-skeletal, neurological, metabolic, cardiopulmonary, auto-immune, chronic pain, and mental health disorders.

Kim is a strong believer that exercise is medicine for the mind and body and enjoys treating in the gym and hydrotherapy settings for rehabilitation alongside sport specific strength and conditioning. Kim is currently studying a Masters in Holistic Counselling and enjoys working alongside each of her patients, striving with them holistically to reach their goals.

Away from the clinic, Kim enjoys adventuring outdoors with her husband, son and daughter, discovering new ways to live and learn.
